In the spring/summer 2024 season, Toshiharu Kaneko established "ILL ONE EIGHTY". About Ilwan Eighty "Ilwan Eighty" is a men's and women's fashion brand created by Toshiharu Kaneko (TOSHIHARU KANEKO), a designer of "Car Oline". The brand concept is “HALF A REVOLUTION”. The design incorporates the transformation that occurs from the mix of the two 180-degree opposites: Yin and Yang, old and modern, on and off, mountains and sea, Los Angeles and New York. Designer Toshiharu Kaneko, who has been devoted to surfing since his teens, is influenced by various American cultures, including surf street culture on the west coast. Taking advantage of his experience and knowledge, he was involved in various brand directors, designers, and OEM products at select shops, and established Ilwan Eighty. He is also familiar with vintage fashion, and proposes items that incorporate what he has seen and experienced in a filter based on the atmosphere of the time.
