Sho Kasamatsu, an actor from Nagoya, wears a street mode by the NUBIAN Select brand. Rick Owens' calf leather jacket is an impressive dark and constructive design. "When I was in my second year of high school, I was just scouted on the road that left Nagoya PARCO. With that, I was able to know that there is also a career as an actor. Until then, I had never felt that way. Rather, in the first time I started this job and now, I felt a little bit more like, ‘I want to be an actor’ and ‘I want to be more like this.’”

This season, NUBIAN is focusing on accessories for "ALICE HOLLYWOOD" and "BREATH". ALICE HOLLYWOOD, an up-and-coming brand based in LA, is sold based on pop-ups in various countries, making it a hot topic as a brand that is difficult to obtain worldwide. It has gained support from worldwide fashion icons such as A$AP Rocky, Destroy Lonely and Bloody Osiris. The heavy metal use and details elaborated detail add a seasonal accent and presence to the whole style just by wearing it.

Kasamatsu began his career as an actor when he was 20 years old in 2013. My career began with an extra. “At first, it was really fun. I didn't know anything, and all the people I met were older than me. He taught me a lot and everyone was kind to me. It feels like it was purely enjoyable.”

Is the pure “fun” he had at that time unchanged after 12 years? “It’s more complicated now, isn’t it? The fun moment is stronger. There’s a fun moment, but that’s all else.……There are many times when you are anxious nights or when you are likely to be crushed by pressure. But I have to do it. In the gradation of emotions, the depth of "fun" became very thick. But, of course, it is one of many emotions. And I think all of those feelings are probably getting stronger.” That "emotional gradation" is the driving force behind him as an actor. Not only fun, but also all experiences, including anxiety and conflict, shape the expressiveness and presence of actor Masaru Kasamatsu.

He started his career as an actor for 12 years. It is said that Mr. Kasamatsu's values and way of life have changed significantly during his experience. “It has changed from stage to stage,” he says. Depending on the age, the size of the role, and the content of the work, my own way of thinking has changed. “The change is going on all the time. But now you may not be thinking much. I was strongly asked by the director, so I sometimes go to movies, and dramas too. I think it’s a flower when I ask you.”

In fact, during the shooting, Mr. Kasamatsu rushed to his favorite sweets shop he found by chance. But just before the store closes, the cake in the showcase is almost sold out. Still, miraculously the last piece remained, and there was a happy happening that took place in his hands after filming.

"I tried my job and felt like, 'I wish there was something interesting in everything.' I don't know, but there is a limit to success. It's smaller than that, but like the cake I ate after shooting, it's like "something delicious"……It makes you feel better when you are in front of you.”
