Nagoya PARCO, which celebrates its 35th anniversary this year, will hold an art & culture event "BEFORE YOU KNOW IT" for 5 days from November 7 (Thursday) to November 11 (Monday), 2024.
Performed several performance art projects by Masanari Tsuji, a break dancer and contemporary artist, at PARCO for 5 days. A performance art exhibition will be held using Nagoya PARCO as a whole, involving local professional students from a total of 50 professional dancers.
In addition, the Parco Wall Gallery, which displays art works in the common areas of the museum to commemorate the event, has increased its new base and power up. Art works by four artists who continue to express the theme of "body" will be exhibited in the museum.
<Performance>
[Walking Performance]
Multiple dancers just "walking" performance in PARCO.
Suddenly during the period, dancers with masks appeared in the West Building at the same time. A large performance art event involving a total of 50 people in five days, involving professional dancers and professional students in the Tokai area.
Visitors will chancely witness unrealistic performance art in a commercial facility that is a daily space, connecting them to discover new perspectives and interest in art.

[DUALITY (Showcase)]
DUALITY is an expression of the possibilities for "dancing" as questioned by Masanari Tsuji, a dancer and director, as well as a performance work mainly composed of genres that are rare in street dance. This time, in conjunction with the walking performance, performances were held inside and in stores PARCO.

[Action Painting]
An action painting by Masanari Tsuji, a break dancer and contemporary artist active in the world based in the Tokai region, will be held at the West Building store.

Art works by four artists who continue to express themselves on the theme of "body" are exhibited at PARCO Wall Gallery NAGOYA, a project that displays art works in common areas of Nagoya PARCO and sells works online.
The works to be exhibited will be sold at "ONLINE PARCO".
