Prior to the global sale festival "Black Friday", FABRIC TOKYO conducted an Internet survey for men and women in their 20s and 50s about their shopping experiences on Black Friday.
Black Friday has originated in the United States and has taken root as a global sale. However, from the perspective of sustainability, there is also a movement that calls for mass production and mass disposal. Through this survey, the actual situation of shopping on Black Friday, which coincides with the disposal of the apparel industry, has emerged.
FABRIC TOKYO has been conducting its own sustainable campaign "WHITE FRIDAY" since 2018, in line with the Black Friday season, and has been holding it since November 17 (Thursday). Through the purchase of custom-made clothing, we aim to contribute to the improvement of the negative cycle of mass production and mass consumption by making custom-made clothing.
