Mikio Sakabe's designer Mikio Sakabe's guitar-up (GIDDY UP) is a predecessor brand. It was renamed in 2019 and became Grans.
The concept is "LEAP GRAVITY," and the theme is "Change in the relationship between humans and gravity (earth)" and "Outsole, which is the point of contact between humans and gravity (earth) and the creation of a human image centered on the ground."
Footwear like stepping on something huge gel-like
Originally, the outsole, which should be sturdy to support the entire body, was intentionally made into a fluid and soft shape that tickles the playfulness.
The rubber parts on the outside add an accent to the design.
The upper part has a delicate finish in contrast to the voluminous shoe soles.
The sharp shape, the constrictions made on the arch of the foot, and the gentle slope from the toes to the heel impresses an elegant and slick style not found in existing sneakers.
Also, the upper is Mary Jane. The strap made of nubucks is designed to be stopped with magic tape.
The height of the heels is about 7 cm.
Despite being at the bottom of Atsushi, it is designed so that it is hard to get tired of walking by supporting the body with the whole shoe sole and providing moderate cushioning.
