This work was created by Berisha, an important friend of Aniesbee.
Dout Berisha was born in Peya, Kosovo in 1946 and studied at the University of the Arts in Belgrade and Academy de Borzar in Paris.
In particular, influenced by Pablo Picasso and Francis Bacon, he created works centered on the body form, combining material expressions and spiritual stories.
He also produces wood carvings and metal sculptures, combining Stai-rise expressions (expressions that convert elements into more abstract forms) of the female torso and the classic guitar body.
Berisha has participated in many solo and group exhibitions in France, the United States, and Mexico. I lived in Paris from my student days at Academy de Bozar until I died in January 2023.
